The pursuit of happiness is an inherently selfish endeavor: we aren’t looking for someone else’s happiness but our own. If there were no mistakes along the way, then no one could ever reach their true potential. And when you have done everything you have set out for yourself — including making mistakes — then you end up with nothing left that matters at all. So now you face this truth: life is about living without regrets anyway, so why not live without regret? But bear in mind that this will change your priorities and may make some things more difficult or even impossible in your life; but if those things get in your way, they will always be in your way because they are… well… inevitable.
