Corecivic employee portal: How to use the corecivic employee portal?

Corecivic employee portal: We are a team of software engineers who have the privilege of making products which enable agencies at the corecivic level to better serve their citizens.

But let’s be clear: this is not a marketing campaign. It’s not a sales pitch. It’s not about trying to make people interested in us as a company just so we can make money and so that we can expand our product line.

This is about corecivic’s mission, its values and its philosophy. We are all driven by the same thing: to do what is right in the world and to do it together with our clients, with those who work for us and with those who serve them at so many different levels.

We are corecivics because we want to be part of that world, because we want each one of you to be part of it too; because we believe in what makes us different from our competitors; because we believe that when you are working for an agency which serves people at the corecivic level, your life will improve in so many ways; and because you deserve nothing less than the best from your corecivic agency partners.

We hope you enjoy being part of this journey with us!

corecivic employee portal overview

This is a story about a company that started with a vision, went through a process of defining the product and how it would be marketed, and came up with the right decision. The product was built on a very specific idea: corecivic’s employee portal would allow employees to securely manage their finances. Its founder knew that by coming up with this idea and building it, he could build a company around it. At the time of this writing, corecivic’s employee portal has been fully funded.

The company is one of thousands that have tried to sell their ideas by focusing on one particular market segment or niche (e.g. social media monitoring). They have failed to do so for various reasons: technology was not at that time ready for mass adoption; they tried to do too much in too little time; they never had enough data to prove their value proposition as an alternative to the existing alternatives (and therefore were unable to justify the funding they got); or they lacked focus in terms of marketing or sales efforts (whatever was going on at the time).

There are some good reasons why this type of product may not succeed:

  1. Because the market is not big enough for you to build your product before you need it (or perhaps even after you need it), there is no time for market research, no time for feedback loops, no time for testing your product against other competitors and no time for defining your value proposition (which is what progress means).
  2. Your industry isn’t mature enough. If your industry isn’t mature enough yet, then you will never be able to convince people that you are worth investing in because they won’t know what true value is until you have demonstrated it first.
  3. You don’t know what people really want or need – You can only build towards something if you know what it is and can articulate it clearly.

But there are also many good reasons why a market may not be big enough for your particular product:

  1. Your product isn’t targeted at any one type of user segment – You need a broad model of users because when everyone buys something like this, everyone can buy something like this eventually! But if everyone only buys things from people whom they like then nobody will buy anything except those who like them as well! You can’t target individual users until you’ve defined how your value proposition differs from everybody else’s value proposition and which features are most important for

There is a lot of confusion out there about what exactly the corecivic employee portal is, and the reason for that confusion is that some people think it’s a simple API for integrating with corecivic , and others think it’s an employee management app.

The truth is, the corecivic employee portal is neither one thing nor the other: it has many different components but runs solely off of one API. The player in this story should be you, as the great evangelist for your product. If you want someone to forget all the bad things they thought about you before, remind them of them now! If you want to build trust with customers, make sure they know that they can trust you! And if you want to generate sales, make it easy for them to do so.

And don’t be afraid to explain this repeatedly until they get it, because most people will get it eventually.

what is the corecivic employee portal for?

I’ve been asked a number of times what it is about corecivic.com that makes it different from other companies. I’m not sure how to answer this question, so I thought I’d share my thoughts on the subject using a few examples from my own experience and those of others I know.

The first thing to say is that corecivic.com isn’t just another portal, or just another company. It is a company, with its own mission and objectives and identity. It is like any startup or even small business (remember, we are only 25 people). We have our own values, culture, strategy and methodology that we have developed over time. We have our own voice, in terms of what we say and what we do — they are not necessarily shared by the rest of the world. We are also private; we don’t reveal much about who we are or what we do (except for occasional social media posts).

Now that you have read this brief explanation about corecivic.com’s unique identity as a company/startup/small business… What does this mean?

It means you should be asking yourself: Who am I? What is my vision? What kind of person do I want to be? Do I want to be someone who helps people who are in need? Someone who inspires others to be better at their jobs? Someone who helps others improve their lives through technology? Someone who helps people live better lives in their communities (so that there are more opportunities for all)?

If you answer “yes” to any one of these questions… then corecivic may be right for you!

How to use the corecivic employee portal?

I’ve been looking at the corecivic employee portal lately, and wondering what it is? Why are we using this thing? I think it’s a good idea, but why are we using it?

The answer is not to communicate with employees (which is necessary for a company to be successful), but to communicate with investors. It does that via two important channels: an annual expense report for each employee, and an annual presentation of the funds allocated towards their salary (which can be aggregated into one big lump sum). You can see the whole process here.

While there is still much to learn about this system and its implications, I (and many other people) think it has potential. The major issues I see are:

  • improving ease of use
  • removing unnecessary layers of documentation
  • reducing cost and complexity in hiring staff
  • lowering administrative overhead that could be avoided by automation
  • streamlining processes so that employees can focus on what they do best.

The first issue is that there isn’t much documentation yet, so you need to understand how all the pieces fit together. The second issue is that this system isn’t well written, though hopefully soon we will have much better documentation; but until then you need some understanding of how it works from someone who has done this before (which requires a bit of internet research). The third issue is very similar: there aren’t any ready-made frameworks for automating various parts of this process. The fourth issue: like most things in life, automation must be built in from scratch. That goes double when doing something as complicated as this one needs quite a lot of human effort and time. Having said all that, I would love to see some progress made on these fronts and hope we get some more guidance on how to use and integrate Corecivic Employee Portal over time.
